WHAT IS A PARADE HOME?


A Parade home is exactly what you have come to expect. A new or renovated house finished just in time to be showcased in the Parade of Homes. Sometimes these houses are for sale; often they have been built with an owner in mind. Either way, come enjoy the unique and fun ideas that come from visiting this year’s Parade!




CAN I PURCHASE PARADE TICKETS AT ANY OF THE HOMES IN THE PARADE?


Yes! Each house will have a QR code to scan to purchase tickets, as well as a yard sign which directs you to get tickets on the ParadeGBR.fun website. We recommend to purchase tickets in advance so you can quickly scan your ticket and tour the house! Visit our Tickets page to buy tickets now!




WHAT ARE THE TICKET PRICES?


Tickets are $10, and sold online only. 100% of the ticket proceeds will be donated to a local charity to help families and children in need. Our 2021 Parade beneficiary is Boys and Girls Club of Metro Louisiana.




HOW MUCH IS ADMISSION FOR CHILDREN?


Children 11 years and under are free. 12 years and older require a regular admissions ticket.




HOW DO I REDEEM MY TICKETS PURCHASED ONLINE?


  1. After purchasing tickets online, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address entered in when the purchase was made.
  2. Check the “junk mailbox” or “spam” if there is not a confirmation in the regular inbox.
  3. You can click to print, text, or email each ticket. The delivery options are located next to each ticket listed on your order.
  4. Bring your digital ticket (confirmation email) to each house you want to tour to scan and check in at the houses.




WHERE CAN I GET A MAP FOR THE HOMES?


You can view a map of the Parade houses by clicking the Map tab in the navigation bar located at the top of the page. You can also download a printable version of the map with list of homes by clicking here.




IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED IN THE HOMES?


Yes! A Parade goer is allowed to take photos of the houses they visit. Feel free to share the photos you have taken on our Instagram page and with the hashtag #ParadeGBR.




HOW LONG IS THE PARADE OF HOMES TICKET GOOD FOR?


A general admission Parade ticket allows access to every house on the Parade route for both weekends; April 24-25 and May 1-2, 2021 from 1-5PM.




CAN I VISIT THE PARADE HOMES MORE THAN ONCE?


Yes! You can visit each house as many times as you'd like throughout the duration of Parade. The more scans on your ticket, the more entries you get in our giveaways!




WHERE CAN I VIEW THE ADDRESSES OF THE HOMES?


  1. Each address can be found by clicking on any of the house images listed under the tab View Homes.
  2. Tap the "Get Directions" buttons to open Google Maps and get directions to the house destination.




WHAT IS A PARADE VENDOR?


These companies are product or service providers related to the homebuilding industry that may have a company representative physically present at the Parade house(s). Check out where these vendors are listed along the Parade route and visit the houses to see their product/service in a home setting!




WHAT IS A PARADE DEVELOPMENT?


The Development entries are new residential areas with available lots or homes for you to tour and get a feel of what it would be like to live in the neighborhood! Find out what development fits your lifestyle and what amenities are available for the residents.




WHAT ARE YOUR COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS?


As we prepare to welcome you to GBR's largest community-based event, our builders want you to understand new procedures to protect your health and safety. These measures will be implemented following the guidelines shared by our local health departments and government leaders. 1. Groups will be expected to meet existing social distancing procedures. 2. Masks are required, unless otherwise stated by the state, parish, or city in public areas. 3. Hand sanitizer stations will be provided at each of the Parade houses. 4. Patrons who are experiencing symptoms will not be allowed to enter the homes. 5. Refrain from touching surfaces in the Parade houses. Note: Our builders will frequently disinfect areas that could be touched each day and as needed during the event.
